Job Purpose:
Your mission will be to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our administrative services, supporting mediators, management, and service users with professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support: filing, data entry, and document management
Handle telephone and email enquiries with sensitivity and professionalism
Serve as the first point of contact for service users, agencies, and partner organisations
Maintain accurate records in compliance with GDPR and confidentiality standards
Schedule appointments, meetings, and mediation sessions
Prepare correspondence, reports, and basic statistics as needed
Assist mediators with case administration and documentation
Process referrals and maintain case tracking systems
Support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting efforts
Undertake any other reasonable administrative duties to enhance our service
Person Specification:
Essential Skills:
Previous administrative or office-based experience
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Desirable Skills:
Experience in a charity, community, or support service setting
Understanding of mediation, conflict resolution, or social support services
Experience working with vulnerable individuals or sensitive cases
