How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Description

    This is an on-site role for a Sales Development Representative based in Bath, United Kingdom.


    This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experience sales rep, a university student or a graduate based in Bath/Bristol to cut their teeth on real commercial outcomes in AI and software.


    It is ideally suited to someone interested in founding their own startup someday.


    The Sales Development Representative will focus on identifying and generating qualified leads, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting business development initiatives. Key responsibilities include prospecting, problem and solution mapping, reaching out to potential leads, conducting outreach campaigns, cold calling (this role is not appropriate for someone unwilling to pick up the phone, we need a go-getter), calendar management, rapid learning on product and market to provide product insights, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth.


    We will ask you both how you plan to utilise AI, and notably how you will cut through in a go-to-market channel now saturated by AI.


    Qualifications

    • Experience (or extreme willingness) in Inside Sales and Lead Generation
    • Strong Communication and relationship-building skills
    • Proven expertise in Sales and Business Development
    • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
    • Experience in retail media, advertising, technology, or AI-related industries is a plus
