How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A well-established CDM Consultancy based in London is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to join their growing team. This CDM Principal Designer role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors. The successful CDM Principal Designer will be joining a consultancy known for its collaborative culture.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a CDM Principal Designer looking to progress within a supportive environment that actively encourages professional development and provides exposure to high-profile London-based schemes. The CDM Principal Designer will play a key role in delivering Design Risk Management services across multiple projects.

    The CDM Principal Designer's role

    The CDM Principal Designer will be responsible for managing and delivering CDM duties in line with CDM 2015 regulations. Acting as the CDM Principal Designer, you will coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction phase, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated effectively.

    The CDM Principal Designer will liaise with architects, contractors, and clients, providing competent advice and ensuring compliance across all design stages. Duties will include preparing pre-construction information, reviewing design risk assessments, and attending design meetings.

    The successful CDM Principal Designer will have:

    NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
    Membership of APS (IMaPS or CMaPS preferred)
    Proven experience operating as a CDM Principal Designer within a consultancy environmentIn Return?
