SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor who are looking to add a Project Quantity Surveyor to their team to work across a number of CATA, CATB, & Shell & Core projects valued between £5m-£25m. They are looking for someone to come in and manage their own projects who has the ambition to move into a Senior QS role within a short space of time
Duties may include:
• Production of accurate project cost reporting, commercial dashboards and project cost forecast
• Identification and evaluation of commercial risks and opportunities for improved performance
• Subcontract evaluation and management
• Production of accurate and timely Cost Value Reports
• Provide commercial support to all ongoing Project and Commercial reviews
• Valuations
• Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
• Assisting in the development on junior members of staff
Requirements:
* Relevant Quantity Surveying degrees
* 3+ years experience of Quantity Surveying
* Ability to work in a team
* Enthusiastic can-do attitude
* honest and reliable character
Salary description
£60000.00 - £75000.00 per year
