Transport waste materials from Leicestershire County Council’s Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) to disposal locations, using Hook Loader HGVs.
Responsibilities
* To ensure that the services are delivered for the benefit of the people of Leicestershire
* Ensure due care for assets (including vehicles, compactors, bins and site infrastructure)
* Ensure vehicles to have enough fuel for the next working day
* Vehicles to be kept clean (inside and out) and presentable at all times
* Wear uniform at all times and when needed wear PPE to carry out duties in a safe manner in line with Health and Safety
* Be courteous to customers at all times
Requirements
* HGV Licence
* Driver CPC
* Use of specialist vehicle systems relevant to haulage of waste, such as hook loader and easy-sheet
Hours and Pay:
* The shifts we’re currently looking for preferably is on a 4 on 4 off pattern, 0600 to 1800. Equating to 46hrs.
* This would usually be Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. (Can potentially be flexible with working days)
* £15.50 P/H then once trained increases to £16.50 P/H
* 37 Hours per week
