The Role
As Transport Planner, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities include:
· Liaising with hauliers to obtain updates and ensure delivery timeframes are met
· Proactively resolving unforeseen challenges with minimal operational impact
· Managing customer expectations with professionalism and confidence
· Engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the business
· Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within transport operations
· Supporting operational efficiency across general haulage, container logistics and multimodal movements (experience in these areas is highly desirable)
This role would particularly suit someone with exposure to container logistics and/or multimodal transport operations, who understands the complexities of time-sensitive movements and thrives on solving logistical challenges.

The role would suit an experienced Transport Planning professional or a Graduate calibre candidate with some commercial experience within logistics and transport planning. The position can be offered on a Mon to Fri (7am to 5pm) basis or a 4 on 4 off basis (6am to 6pm).
