We’re recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of the world’s largest food manufacturers, with a global turnover approaching £20 billion. This is a business that continues to invest heavily in its site, technology, and most importantly—its people.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Electrical fault finding on control panels, relays, contactors, switches, VFDs and 3-phase motors
Maintaining and repairing modern production equipment including conveyors, ovens, mixers, metal detectors and check weighers
Carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Mechanical work including bearings, chains, sprockets, shafts and pulley systems
What We’re Looking For
A recognised engineering qualification
Strong electrical fault-finding skills
Experience in FMCG or a fast-paced manufacturing environment (preferred)
A team player with a proactive, flexible approach
A willingness to learn and develop within a high-performing environment
