How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    VRV / VRF Engineer – Data Centres, Critical Cooling & Chiller Progression (Training Provided)

    Location: UK Nationwide (Field-Based, with occasional European travel)
    Salary: DOE + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Standby (OTE £70K+)
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    Overview

    A leading global provider of HVAC, VRV/VRF and Critical Cooling Systems is seeking an experienced VRV / VRF Engineer to join their advanced service division. You’ll work across data centres, mission-critical environments, and large corporate sites while progressing into industrial chillers and large-scale cooling systems.

    Full manufacturer training is provided, including a two‑week technical programme at the company’s European headquarters in Venice, Italy.

    This is an ideal step for an HVAC engineer aiming to move into high‑value data centre cooling and chiller engineering.

    Key Responsibilities

    Service, maintain and fault-find VRV / VRF systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Panasonic etc.)
    Support and train towards servicing industrial chillers and critical cooling systems
    Diagnose mechanical, electrical, controls and refrigeration faults
    Work on systems within data centres and mission‑critical facilities
    Interface with BMS, controls and monitoring platforms
    Assist with commissioning, upgrades and improvement projects
    Produce accurate service reports, documentation and site records
    Deliver professional customer service and onsite technical support

    Skills & Experience Required

    Proven experience working on VRV / VRF air conditioning systems
    Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability
    F‑Gas Category 1 certification
    Solid mechanical and electrical understanding
    Desire to progress into chiller engineering and critical cooling
    Full UK driving licence

    Desirable

    Experience working within data centres or critical environments
    Exposure to BMS / controls systems
    Any chiller, HVAC plant or industrial cooling experience
