Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Our well‑established SEN school in the Stoke‑on‑Trent area is seeking a dedicated and caring Part‑Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs).
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
* Delivering tailored support to help pupils engage in learning and develop essential skills.
* Assisting with behaviour support in line with school policies.
* Creating a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.

* Experience working with children with SEN (school‑based experience is desirable but not essential).
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.
* A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a specialist school setting.
Qualifications (Desirable but Not Essential)
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* SEN‑specific training (e.g., Autism Awareness, Team Teach, Makaton)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
