How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Production Planner to take ownership of planning across our production and manufacturing operations. This is a key role at the heart of our organisation, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge engineering programmes across vehicle, battery, and component manufacturing.

Working closely with Programmes, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams, you will ensure that materials, resources, and processes are aligned to meet demanding build milestones. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced prototype environment and can confidently manage evolving engineering data while keeping complex builds on track.

As we continue to grow, you will also play an important role in shaping the future of our planning function, including processes and systems.

    Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the master production schedule, ensuring alignment with project milestones and customer deliveries
Translate engineering Bills of Materials (BoMs) and build requirements into clear, executable manufacturing plans
Coordinate planning across fabrication, machining, composites, paint, battery build, and final assembly
Identify risks, bottlenecks, and conflicting priorities early, and drive effective mitigation actions
Collaborate with Engineering and Programmes teams to manage design changes, build phases, and long-lead procurement
Provide senior-level reporting on schedule adherence, work-in-progress, and resource utilisation
Support continuous improvement of planning processes, systems (MRP/ERP), and cross-functional workflows
    Essential Skills & Experience

Significant production planning experience within automotive, motorsport, aerospace, or a similar complex, low-volume environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, composites, paint, and assembly
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BoMs, and change documentation
Experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage complex, multi-stage production schedules
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
    Proactive, structured, and solutions-focused approach
Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions in a fast-paced environment
    Desirable

Experience with Syteline (or similar ERP systems)
Exposure to high-voltage (HV) battery assembly processes
    What We Offer

The opportunity to work on innovative and high-profile engineering programmes
A collaborative and forward-thinking working environment
The chance to shape and influence the future of production planning within a growing organisation
A varied and challenging role with real impact
