My client is looking for an experienced Planner to work for a Social Housing contractor in Cheam. This role is available ASAP.
Role and Responsibilities
* Planning engineers’ work so everyone knows where they need to be and when
* Taking ownership of engineers’ daily workloads and keeping things moving
* Handling inbound calls from engineers and helping resolve issues quickly
* Making sure engineers are ready for work and dispatching any spare jobs
* Booking and updating customer appointments
* Spotting issues early and helping reduce complaints before they escalate
* Adjusting schedules when there are absences or changes to planned work
* Keeping customers informed with clear, regular updates
* Supporting the wider team and jumping in where needed
* Making sure all daily tasks are completed by the end of the day
Requirements
* Confident communicator, both on the phone and in writing
* Happy to step up and help cover higher-level tasks when needed
* Proactive and organised
* Flexible and able to adapt when plans change
* Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential information
* Customer-focused and solution-driven
* Able to follow company and client processes
* Strong planning and organisational skills
