NonStop Care is working with a specialist, non-profit organisation to recruit a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to support children and young people with neurodisabilities in dedicated school settings in Aylesbury.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work in a child-centred environment, helping young people aged 5-16 develop independence, motor skills, and emotional regulation.
About the Role
You will deliver high-quality assessments and interventions across specialist schools, focusing on:
Sensory processing
Emotional regulation
Motor skills development
Functional independenceWorking within a small therapy team, you will benefit from structured support while also contributing to clinical decision-making and service development at Band 6 level.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and support children with a range of neurodevelopmental needs
Deliver targeted interventions within school settings
Work together with therapists, educators, and families
Contribute to care planning and clinical discussions
Support positive outcomes for children and young people
About You
Qualified Occupational Therapist (HCPC registered)
Experience at Band 5 or Band 6 level
Interest in paediatrics, sensory integration, or functional skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for supporting children with additional needs
