Senior Urban Designer - Birmingham

I'm currently working with a highly regarded, design-led practice that is looking to appoint a Senior Urban Designer to join their growing team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced urban designer who is passionate about creating thoughtful, sustainable places and is looking to take on a key role within a collaborative and forward-thinking studio.

The Role
You'll play a central part in delivering a wide range of urban design and masterplanning projects across the UK. The position offers the chance to lead on projects, contribute to strategic design thinking, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage urban design and masterplanning projects of varying scales
Prepare high-quality design proposals, reports, and presentations
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
Mentor and support junior team members
Contribute to business development and project bidsAbout You

Proven experience in urban design/masterplanning within a consultancy or design practice
Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
A relevant degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related fieldWhat's on Offer
