Role & Responsibilities
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups with learning and development
Assist in delivering tailored literacy, numeracy and life skills activities
Promote engagement, independence and positive behaviour
Provide personal care and physical support where required
Help maintain a safe, organised and stimulating learning environment
Work closely with teachers and contribute to individual learning targets
Support less experienced staff and contribute to a strong team culture
Working Hours & Contract
Full-time, permanent role – employed directly by the school
Immediate start available
Hours: 8.40am to 4.30pm
Term-time role with ongoing professional development opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 6 months childcare experience (essential)
Experience supporting children with SEN
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
