Duties of this Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:
* Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to high standards
* Perform MOT Testing and ensure vehicles meet safety and emissions standards
* Carry out routine maintenance including brake repairs, engine work, and component replacements
* Utilise diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify faults efficiently
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
* Work collaboratively within the team to deliver excellent customer service
* Comply with health and safety regulations to sustain a safe working environment
Requirements:
* Qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop environment
* MOT Technician certification is essential
* Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to detect faults accurately
* Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
* Excellent communication skills and team player attitude
* Flexibility, motivation, and commitment to meeting targets and deadlines
