Location: Pontefract
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.20 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Thursday – 37 hours per week
Rotating shifts:
6:00am – 3:45pm
3:45pm – 1:30am
(3 x 15-minute breaks – unpaid)
This role will involve operating a large industrial panel saw, working with sizeable materials and ensuring all cuts are completed accurately to specification. You will be responsible for setting up and running the machine, maintaining quality standards, and working efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.
There will also be an element of FLT Counterbalance work, however this will be on an ad-hoc basis to support the wider operation rather than a primary responsibility.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience operating similar machinery and who is comfortable working with larger, heavier materials.
Skills:
Experience operating panel saws or similar machinery
Ability to work with large and heavy materials safely
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Good understanding of health and safety
Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
Team player with a proactive attitude
Qualifications:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (required but not a primary duty)
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Experience operating saw machinery or similar equipment is essential
