Job description:
4 x Scaffolders required for a for a highly regarded regional subcontractor that specialises in residential projects. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Scaffolders to assist our client with a project based in Horsham, West Sussex. Own transport is preferred.
Daily responsibilities will include:
* Erect and dismantle temporary metal scaffolding on structures and building sites
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations
* Reading and working from scaffolding drawings and plans
* Inspecting completed work for safety & compliance
* Working efficiently as part of a site team
* Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site
* Laying planks for workers
* Fixing guard rails and safety netting
Requirements for the role:
* Must have Part 1 or 2 Scaffolders CISRS card
* Own Tools
* Ability to work at height
* The ability to perform physical manual labour
* You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
* Own tools not required
Training/Progression opportunities:
* There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
*Rates of Pay:
* Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
