We are actively hiring for a Production Line Operative to join a successful company based in the outskirts of Colchester, Essex who produce a food based product.
This role is assist with the running of a fast moving production line, with focus on Quality Control, minimal stoppages and hold ups.
Duties of the Production Line Operative will include;
Working on various parts of the production line- from loading, to checking, to unloading
Ensuring smooth running of production at all times
Taking responsibility and ownership of hygiene and housekeeping at all times
Ensuring you are compliant with legal and company food hygiene standards
The ideal Production Line Operative;
Previous experience in a FMCG or manufacturing and production environment
Able to work weekends and weekdays to working hours
Flexible approach to working duties
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work overtime
Be local to ColchesterOwn transport is required due to location
Hours and pay
Working a 4 on 4 off day shift (7am-6pm)- applicants should be aware this does include weekends - working shorter hours
£14 per hour
