How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    IAM Specialist - £410 P/D (Inside IR35) – 8 Month Contract - Hybrid 2/3 Days in Oxford – BPSS Required

    Role Overview

    Our longstanding enterprise corporation that is backed by central government is hiring a IAM specialist with IGA platform,Azure AD and identity lifecycle management and JML automation. Our client is seeking someone who ideally has BPSS, with eligibilty for SC cleareance, who can be based in Oxford on a hybrid basis for 8 months. 

    This role will be instrumental in strengthening identity lifecycle management, improving access governance, and ensuring security controls align with recognised industry security frameworks within a regulated environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Implement and configure IGA platforms (e.g. SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, One Identity or similar)
    Integrate IGA solutions with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity environments
    Integrate and manage authoritative sources such as HR systems and databases
    Design and automate Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) identity lifecycle processes
    Build and manage access request workflows, approvals, and certifications
    Deliver access certification, recertification, and attestation campaigns
    Develop and maintain RBAC models, role mining, and entitlement frameworks
    Configure and develop application connectors, including custom integrations where required
    Troubleshoot provisioning, synchronisation, and access-related issues
    Produce and maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational runbooks
    Ensure identity controls align with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and organisational security standardsEssential Skills & Experience

    Hands-on experience implementing IGA platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, One Identity, or equivalent)
    Proven experience integrating IGA with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
    Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and JML automation
    Experience integrating HR systems and other authoritative data sources
    Solid knowledge of authentication and provisioning protocols, including: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM
    Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and hybrid identity architectures
    Knowledge of access certification, attestation, and governance processes
    Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
    Excellent technical documentation capabilityDesirable Experience

    Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline
    Vendor certifications in SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, or similar platforms
    Microsoft SC‑300 – Identity and Access Administrator
    Experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) and access risk analytics
    Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python
    Experience with API integrations and web services
    Familiarity with ITSM workflows and change control processes
