The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy, working on innovative water sector projects. This is a chance to influence design standards and mentor the next generation of engineers.

The Role This role would suit candidates currently working as Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Project Manager, Water Engineer, M&E Engineer, Design Lead, or Engineering Consultant. 

We would also welcome applications from professionals in power generation, process engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or environmental engineering.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Deliver mechanical design outputs that meet stringent safety and quality standards.
Develop calculations, drawings, and specifications for water-related projects.
Lead and support CAD technicians and junior engineers throughout the design process.
Oversee subcontracted M&E design work, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to integrate equipment into designs.You will have the following qualifications and experience
At least 10 years’ mechanical design experience within the water industry.
Strong expertise in hydraulic design principles and applications.
Understanding of electrical systems and control processes.
Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline, with solid IT skills.
