A specialist SEND / SEMH school provision across Suffolk / North Essex is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children who require a highly structured, nurturing, and flexible approach to learning.
The role is ideal for someone who understands that progress in this environment is built on relationships, consistency, and small-step success, not just curriculum coverage.
The Role:
Teach a primary-aged cohort with a range of SEND and SEMH needs
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning profiles
Focus on core skills development (literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills)
Create a calm, consistent, and engaging classroom environment
Work closely with SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral teams to support holistic developmentYou:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in primary teaching, SEND, or SEMH settings (ECTs welcome to apply)
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Able to adapt teaching style to meet a wide range of needs
