About the Role:
Our client, a global leader in green technology and renewable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician to support the delivery of advanced energy storage projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery energy storage systems (BESS) and contribute to large-scale energy transformation initiatives worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:

Install and commission battery energy storage systems in line with technical specifications
*
Debug systems, diagnose faults, and restore operational performance
*
Prepare site plans and coordinate installation and commissioning activities
*
Carry out technical upgrades, maintenance, and system improvements as directed by site leadership
*
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
Requirements:
*
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in BESS commissioning
*
Relevant certifications such as CSCS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or SMSTS
*
Electrical qualifications, including high-voltage and/or low-voltage certification (preferred)
*
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
*
Willingness to work on-site for extended periods and travel as required
*
Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
*
IELTS score of 5.0 or above, or willingness to improve English proficiency
Desirable Skills:

Experience in power electronics or renewable energy systems
