Peterborough 
Day shift: 7.00am - 3.45pm Mon to Thurs & 07.00 am-2.30pm Friday
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

My client is a leading manufacturer within their industry basedin Peterborough within commutable distance from Oundle, Stamford and surrounding areas They are currently looking for a skilled Assembly Operative to join their team.
 
The Role - Assembly Operative:

Assemble components and parts according to specifications and blueprints.

Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Working at height to complete the builds when needed.
Keep work bay area tidy; taking care to ensure equipment/chemicals/tools are stored away after use.
Report faulty equipment and safeguard against accidents.  
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Assembly Operative

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly found in assembly work.
Must be mechanically minded
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings 
Must be able to do heavy lifting 
Comfortable working with ladders
Experience in an engineering environment (desirable)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
