HGV Technician opportunity
Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional HGV technician to their team. They have been operating for over 40 years and have an exceptional reputation within the industry, on offer is an excellent salary and benefits package as well as the opportunity to grow and develop your skills at their in-house training facility.
Duties of the HGV Technician
Carrying out inspections, repairs, and MOT prep (DVSA standard, of course)
Getting stuck into diagnostics and sorting faults fast
Keeping things moving with routine servicing & maintenance on all kinds of heavy commercial vehicles
Completing digital job cards & inspections using tablets
Occasional off-site repairs and maintenance
Experience/skills required for the HGV Technician
A full UK driving licence (Class 2 is a nice bonus)
Knowledge of various commercial vehicles
Knowledge & Confidence with diagnostic tools and garage management systems
Good knowledge of DVSA vehicle standards
You’re fully qualified and time-served fitter with experience in the industry
