How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

As Delegate Bookings Administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth delivery of both virtual and in‑person events, acting as a first point of contact for delegates and supporting the wider events team with day-to-day administration.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Acting as the first point of contact for delegate and client enquiries

    * Processing delegate bookings accurately for virtual and in-person events using event management systems (full training provided)

    * Administering payments, including raising invoices and chasing payments

    * Producing confirmation letters and joining instructions

    * Creating and maintaining delegate lists and producing delegate badges for live events

    * Supporting general office administration, including data entry, filing and ordering office supplies

    * Carrying out any other reasonable administrative duties to support operations and marketing activity

    About You

This role would suit someone organised, personable and keen to build a career within events.

    Ideal requirements:

    * Previous experience in a customer service or office-based administrative role

    * Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task in a busy environment

    * Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

    * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

    * Ideally lives locally and holds a driving licence

    * Full training and support provided

    * Friendly, supportive and hardworking team environment

    * Exposure to high-level national and international conferences

    * Long-term career opportunity within the events industry
