Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support numeracy, language, and social development, tailored to individual needs and interests.
* Maintain high standards of safety, security, and hygiene, adhering strictly to safeguarding policies.
* Act as a key person for a group of children, supporting their transition, tracking progress, and setting developmental targets.
* Observe and assess children’s development, identifying next steps and reporting progress to parents and leadership.
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children’s wellbeing and daily experiences.
* Support daily routines such as feeding, toileting, and nappy changing, while encouraging independence.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds relevant EYFS/teaching qualifications.
* Has experience working within an Early Years setting.
* Demonstrates a nurturing and proactive approach to supporting young children.
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
