How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Ensure all submissions are delivered on time and to a high standard

    * Manage renewals and ensure ongoing compliance with KPI and reporting requirements

    * Improve internal processes to enhance bid success rates

    Content & Quality

    * Produce high-quality written content including methodologies, case studies and delivery strategies

    * Maintain a central bid library and standard templates

    * Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all submissions

    Collaboration

    * Work closely with internal teams to gather accurate project and technical information

    * Engage senior stakeholders to shape win strategies and value propositions

    * Support marketing input into submission design and presentation

    Market Intelligence

    * Monitor procurement pipelines, competitor activity and market trends

    * Provide insight into strategic bidding opportunities

    Governance & Performance

    * Track and report on bid performance, win rates and outcomes

    * Ensure compliance with internal governance processes

    * Drive continuous improvement across bidding activities

    About You

    * Strong understanding of procurement processes and residential construction

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    * Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

    * Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

    Desirable:
