Summary
We are seeking a skilled NOUS Sonographer (Ultrasound) to join our team in the United Kingdom, Cambridgeshire Area. Based at our hospital partner locations, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging services, supporting our mission to enhance patient outcomes through advanced medical imaging.
Responsibilities
* Perform ultrasound examinations with precision and care.
* Collaborate with medical teams to interpret imaging results.
* Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of all imaging procedures.
* Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.
* Support continuous improvement of imaging techniques and practices.
* Qualifications
* Proven UK experience as an ultrasound sonographer, preferably with NHS or similar healthcare experience.
* At least 1 years’ UK experience
* Certification in diagnostic medical sonography or relevant accreditation.
* Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and techniques.
* Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
* Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Proficiency in IT systems related to medical imaging is advantageous.
* Typical Clinical Ultrasound competencies required (Either or a Combination)
* Upper abdomen ultrasound.
* Kidneys and urinary tract.
* Female pelvis, including transvaginal scanning.
* Liver, including Doppler studies.
* Lower limb venous ultrasound.
* Soft tissue (lumps and bumps).
* Musculoskeletal (MSK).
* Testicular ultrasound.
* Head and neck ultrasound.
