How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy service team. This is a fast-paced and varied position suited to someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys solving problems while delivering excellent customer service.

    What’s on Offer:

    Job type: Full-time, permanent
    Location: Farnham
    Salary: £34,000 per annum

    Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate requests, liaising with customers to minimise downtime
    Log and manage incoming calls and requests
    Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates
    Input information accurately on a daily basis
    Chase purchase order numbers
    Produce estimates for clients
    Resolve customer invoice queries in a timely manner
    Cover other départements during peak periods and holidays
    Support colleagues and contribute to overall team success
    Ensure all communication is handled in a professional, polite, and diplomatic manner 

    Requirements

    Previous experience in a customer service or coordination role
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
    Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    Good attention to detail and organisational skills
    Strong problem-solving ability with a “can do” attitude
    Comfortable handling phone-based customer contact
