An outstanding primary school in Ewell & Epsom area is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Year 3 Class Teacher to join their KS1 team on a temporary maternity cover contract after May half term.

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:
NO planning involved, but expected to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 3 curriculum
Marking pupils work
Supports pupils' transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2
Teaches core subjects including English, maths, and science
Assesses and tracks pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet different needs
Creates a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
Manages classroom behaviour effectively using clear expectations
Provides feedback to pupils to support improvement
Works closely with teaching assistants and other staff
Communicates with parents about pupil progress and wellbeingWhat the School Is Looking For
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching Year 3
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Experience delivering phonics, ideally using Little Wandle
A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic teaching style
