Location: Portslade – Brighton
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (on your available days)
We are currently recruiting for Bank SEN Teaching Assistants to support schools across the Portslade to Brighton area.
This is a flexible role, ideal for individuals looking to work around studies, childcare, or other commitments. You will be contacted on a weekly basis to confirm your availability for upcoming work.
The role involves supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils with special educational needs, providing vital assistance in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis
* Assisting with learning activities and classroom engagement
* Supporting students with additional needs and challenging behaviour
* Adapting to different school environments and situations
* Helping to maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive setting
Requirements:
* Experience in a care or support-based role is highly desirable
* A resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Flexibility and willingness to work across different schools
This role will involve covering staff sickness, training, and short-term absences, offering a variety of experiences across different settings.
