Bench Hand Joiner – Bradford

Location: Bradford
Salary: £15.50 – £17.00 per hour (PAYE, negotiable based on experience) + holiday pay
Type: Ongoing Temp Work (with potential for a permanent role)

SWIFT Temps Ltd – Engineering Division is recruiting for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join an established manufacturer in Bradford

Key Responsibilities:

* Construct and assemble high-quality custom joinery, furniture, and exhibition stands based on technical drawings.

* Perform on-site modifications and adjustments to ensure perfect fit and finish.

* Work on shop-fitting projects and commercial installations.

* Fabricate solid surfaces as required.

* Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.

* Maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in high-quality bench joinery or furniture making (2–3 years).

* NVQ qualification in joinery, or equivalent experience.

* Exceptional carpentry and joinery skills with a keen eye for detail.

* Solid surface fabrication experience preferred.

* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm OR 7:00am to 4:30pm

* Some Saturdays required during busy periods

* Optional shifts available: 7:00am – 7:00pm, including weekends if you are wanting extra hours
