Salary: From £38,000 per annum + overtime (potential earnings up to £60,000)

The Opportunity
We are recruiting experienced CNC Sliding Head Turners to join a state-of-the-art precision engineering facility producing high-spec, tight tolerance components used within aerospace, medical and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities
* Programming, setting and operating Sliding Head CNC lathes
* Machine setup including tooling, fixtures, guide bushes and offsets
* Editing and optimising CNC programs (G-code and/or CAM)
* Producing high precision components to tight tolerances
* First-off inspection and in-process quality checks
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings including GD&T
* Troubleshooting machining issues and improving cycle efficiency
* Maintaining quality standards within ISO regulated environments
* Ensuring components meet dimensional and surface finish specifications
* Working with materials including stainless steel, titanium and aluminium
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Sliding Head Turner
* Experience working with machines such as Citizen, Star, Tornos or similar
* Strong understanding of precision machining principles
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience working to tight tolerances
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team
