2026 General Operator

We are currently recruiting General Operatives for a busy and well-established manufacturing company specialising in precast concrete walls and products. This is a hands-on, physical role within a fast-paced production environment, offering full-time, ongoing work with an immediate start available.

As a General Operative, you will play a key role in the production process, helping to manufacture high-quality concrete products while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the production of precast concrete walls and related products
Install reinforcing steel (rebar) into moulds prior to concrete pouring
Adjust rebar sizes in line with specifications
Paint and finish concrete products when required
Load and unload materials safely
Support other areas of the production process as needed
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work as part of a team to meet production targets
Requirements:

Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred
Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
Ability to follow health and safety procedures at all times
Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
Own transport is beneficial due to location
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor or open production environment
