The Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager to deliver exceptional care standards and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment where residents can thrive, while also leading and motivating a dedicated care team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the overall management of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
Assist with admissions and build strong relationships with residents, families, and professionals
Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for all residents
Oversee care delivery, staffing, and daily operations
Lead, support, and develop the team, deputising for the Home Manager when required
Maintain strong links with external stakeholders and regulatory bodiesRequirements for Deputy Home Manager
Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid PIN
Experience working as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar leadership role within elderly care services
Strong knowledge of care standards and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification (desirable)Benefits
