We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to operate CNC machinery and support the assembly of door kit products within a busy timber production environment.

This position involves working within a door kit manufacturing section, operating CNC machines and assembling components such as doors, hinges, locks, and MDF casings. The role requires coordination with other departments to ensure materials and kits are prepared and available according to project timelines.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery to produce door kit components accurately and efficiently

Assemble door kits, including doors, hinges, locks, and MDF casings

*

Interpret job specifications and ensure products meet required standards

*

Plan workload effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines

*

Liaise with internal departments (e.g., purchasing, production) to ensure material availability

*

Monitor stock levels and report shortages to maintain workflow continuity

*

Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications

*

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment

*

Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Profile

*

Experience operating CNC machinery (preferred but not essential depending on training provided)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work

Good planning and organizational skills

*

Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., purchasing, production)

Capable of working independently and as part of a team

Reliable and able to meet deadlines in a production environment
