Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience) + overtime + benefits
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lift Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering business. This is a field-based role offering flexibility on location, ideal for engineers looking for autonomy, varied work, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on a wide range of lift equipment
Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and safety regulations
Diagnose faults efficiently and implement effective repairs
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Provide a high level of customer service while on-site
Participate in call-out rota (if applicable)
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential)
Proven experience in lift servicing and maintenance
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
Good understanding of various lift manufacturers and control systems
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
