HOURS: 42 hours per week, 4on4off 07:00 - 19:00
SALARY: £57,330 plus benefits

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of Maintenance Technicians ensuring the efficient and safe running of all Production equipment based at our Eurocell Recycling site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

This is a great opportunity within the department, with oversight of maintenance planning, supporting a skilled technical team, and implementing strategies that reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

WHAT OUR MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS DO:

Manage a team of Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
Monitor equipment performance and ensure that all maintenance activities are performed to meet safety and quality standards
Follow and report all escalation of incidents in line with SHE requirements
Support and train Operators to develop within their role
Engage and manage contractor activity onsite
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for extrusion equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on process equipment
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor work quality to meet production and maintenance goals
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS:

Time served apprentice in an engineering subject (HNC or equivalent would be desirable)
ILM level 3 in supervisory management or equivalent experience
WCM/Lean trained (or willing to be)
Practical knowledge of Key H+S legislation (example - HASAWA, LOLER, PUWER ,IEEE regulations
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to diagnose faults on a wide range of engineering equipment including but not exhaustive of Electrical fixed wiring systems, PLC and drive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
