We're looking for an experienced commercial electrician for a long-term project based in Harwell, Didcot.
Details:
Start date: End of April (TBC)
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Hours: 8 hours per day (30-minute break)
Rate: £30-£34 ph (DOE and tickets)Key Responsibilities:
Installation, commissioning, and upgrade support of specialist electrical systems
Electrical wiring of panels, control racks, and equipment (including high current/voltage systems)
Installation of cable containment systems (flexible and rigid)
Termination of multipole and coaxial connectors (solder, crimp, cage clamp)
Carrying out safety testing prior to energisation and periodic inspection/testing
Fault finding, repair, and ongoing system maintenance
Working closely with project teams and other contractors to ensure timely deliveryRequirements:
Valid Gold Card
2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
IPAF (preferred)
Strong experience in commercial 1st & 2nd fix
Confident in testing, inspection, and fault finding
