🧹 The Role
As a School Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the school is a clean, hygienic, and pleasant place for pupils and staff. Your work will directly support children's learning and wellbeing.
⏰ Working Hours
Ideally, this is a split shift role:
Morning: 7:30am - 9:00am
Afternoon: 3:15pm - 5:30pm💡 We understand flexibility matters - alternative arrangements or redistribution of hours will be considered for the right candidate.
💷 Pay
£13 per hour
🧼 Key Responsibilities
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and shared spaces
Maintaining high standards of hygiene in toilets and wash areas
Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
Ensuring all areas are safe, tidy, and ready for use
Following school health & safety procedures
👤 About You
We're looking for someone who:
Is reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Takes pride in their work and has great attention to detail
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
Is committed to safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment for children
Has an enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one (we can facilitate an application)
