The Role
We are seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join the school’s dedicated early years team. You will:
Deliver high-quality teaching across the EYFS curriculum, ensuring all areas of learning are covered through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Create a stimulating, safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports curiosity, independence and a love of learning.
Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to plan, assess and track progress against Early Learning Goals.
Build strong relationships with children and families, promoting positive communication and involvement in the learning journey.
Contribute to the wider school ethos of high expectations, ambition and resilience for all pupils.
Person Specification
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching in EYFS.
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the developmental needs of young children.
Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm and a nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
Is able to use assessment effectively to support and extend children’s progress.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and builds positive partnerships with parents and carers.
Shares the school’s values of ambition, resilience and success for all learners.
