Job Purpose
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the demands of the growing business in the logistics industry. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of start to completion of projects to the logistics industry in the UK as well as taking on bringing projects up speed.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
Lead and coordinate daily project meetings, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment on objectives and timelines
Manage project intake and workflow, ensuring all new work is accurately scoped, documented, and assigned
Provide regular project updates to senior management and internal teams, reporting on progress, risks, and key milestones
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, leading meetings, managing expectations, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, installation, operations) to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery
Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimise delays and maintain delivery timelines
Conduct root cause analysis on project issues, implementing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement
Develop and manage project schedules, optimising resource allocation and adapting to changing priorities
Oversee quality assurance, ensuring all deliverables meet required standards and client expectations
Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, risk logs, and meeting records
Candidate Requirements of the Project Manager:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Practical experience in Logistics, FMCG, or Automation.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
