How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The role ensures the effective use of digital tools, data standards, and coordinated workflows to improve design quality, reduce rework, and support efficient project delivery.

This role combines strategic leadership of BIM with hands-on technical input where required, particularly in model coordination and clash detection activities. The BIM Manager acts as the focal point for BIM-related matters, working collaboratively with engineering, design, project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure BIM outputs meet contractual, regulatory, and business requirements.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Develop, implement, and maintain the company BIM strategy, standards, and digital workflows in line with business objectives.
    • Lead and promote BIM adoption across engineering, design, and project teams.
    • Establish, manage, and review BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific BIM requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and associated information management and data governance requirements.
    • Define and manage information structures, naming conventions, data requirements, and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes.
    • Apply configuration management principles, including information baselining, change control, and configuration registers.
    • Oversee the creation, coordination, and integration of multidisciplinary models across projects.
    • Lead model coordination and clash detection activities, undertaking hands-on coordination where required.
    • Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
    • Carry out audits of models, data, and BIM deliverables to ensure quality, traceability, and compliance.
    • Support integration between BIM, CAD, and manufacturing systems (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Inventor).
    • Manage document control, versioning, approvals, and data integrity across projects.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related matters, liaising with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders.
    • Monitor BIM performance and drive continuous improvement, standardisation, and innovation.
    • Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance on BIM tools, processes, and best practice.
    • Develop and maintain internal BIM guidance, templates, and supporting documentation.
    • Support onboarding and upskilling of team members into BIM workflows.
    • Carry out checking and approval activities in accordance with company and project procedures.

    Essential

    • Proven experience in a BIM Manager, Senior BIM Coordinator, or similar role.
    • Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and information management principles.
    • Proficiency in BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks and/or Bentley MicroStation
    • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design coordination.
    • Strong understanding of engineering and/or design workflows.
    • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining BIM standards and processes.
    • Experience managing and working within Common Data Environments (CDEs).
    • Ability to audit models and BIM outputs for compliance and quality.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and project teams
