Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering exceptional, high value residential projects?
You’ll be joining a highly respected main contractor renowned for delivering some of the UK’s most prestigious private homes, heritage restorations, and bespoke country estates. They’re seeking a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who can manage complex builds with precision, integrity, and attention to detail.
Initial projects include the high quality refurbishment of a private residence, characterised by heritage detail, exceptional craftsmanship, and contemporary luxury. The forward pipeline consists exclusively of bespoke residential projects, with contract values ranging from £5m to £20m.
The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the commercial delivery of this exceptional project, working closely with the site and senior management teams to ensure financial control from pre-construction through to final account.
You will:
* Manage cost control, budgeting, and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
* Prepare and administer subcontract packages, valuations, and payments
* Lead on procurement strategy and subcontractor negotiations
* Manage variations, change control, and risk mitigation
* Prepare accurate cost reports and cashflow forecasts
* Support final accounts and ensure commercial compliance
* Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
About You:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on £5m+ prime or super prime residential / heritage projects
* Strong commercial, contractual, and cost management expertise
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* A meticulous approach with strong attention to detail
* Confidence working within high end, client facing environments
* A proactive and collaborative mindset
