Teacher - Maths & PSHE

This role is for a qualified teacher who understands that not all young people are able to thrive in mainstream school settings and benefit from the small group nurturing approach that alternative learning provision can provide.

We are a mentoring and learning service for young people and are seeking a teacher of Maths and PSHE for our secondary and post 16 learners.

Based in the Yate area of South Gloucestershire, the successful candidate will work 9-3, Monday to Friday with no expectation to work from home or complete the additional administration expected in schools. You will have a work-life balance again!

They will be teaching small groups of students up to 4 sessions per day across our range of sites as those students work towards Functional Skills Maths and NOCN unit accreditations.

PSHE topics are taught in line with the PSHE Association guidance and statutory requirements for school with a specific focus on the needs of our students.
