How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Client Development Executive role in the Suffolk area, £55k DOE + Bonus + Company Car. Hybrid position covering Civil Works. Develop new business, support tenders, manage client relationships and drive projects from enquiry to award.

    Up to £55,000 per annum DOE + Bonuses + Company Car
    Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Sales Executive to play a key role in business growth while working closely with estimating and operational teams.

    The role

    You will generate new business opportunities while supporting the full sales process from initial enquiry through to project award. The role combines proactive sales activity with structured coordination, ensuring tenders and quotations are accurate, competitive and delivered on time.

    Key responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new opportunities across highways, local authority and private clients
    • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
    • Attend client meetings, site visits and industry events
    • Work closely with estimators to support tenders and quotations
    • Track enquiries, quotations and activity within Pipedrive
    • Coordinate internally to ensure smooth handover to delivery teams
    • Support credit control by liaising with clients on payments

    About you

    • Experience in sales, business development or a commercial role
    • Construction, civil engineering experience
    • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
    • Commercially aware and proactive in approach
    • Full UK driving licence
