Skilled Labourer

Are you a skilled labourer with an eye for detail and experience in internal prep? We are looking for a reliable individual to join a high-quality new build housing site in South Otterington (near Northallerton) for a short-term contract.

This is a specific role focusing on pre-plaster works, ensuring plots are perfectly prepped for the finishing trades.

Role Responsibilities:

Carrying out all aspects of pre-plaster preparation.
Installing beads, fire-stopping, and ensuring all noggins and trunking are correct.
Identifying and rectifying any issues with boarding or framing prior to skimming.
Ensuring all plots are clear of debris and "plaster-ready."
Supporting the site team with general skilled duties as required.

What You'll Need:

Valid CSCS card.
Proven experience in pre-plastering or "first fix" labouring on new build sites.
Ability to work from a snag list and use your own initiative.
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
Basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, cordless drill) are advantageous.
Reliable transport (South Otterington is easily commutable from Northallerton, Thirsk, and Ripon).
