Key Responsibilities

Carry out full main Quantity Surveyor duties across assigned projects
*
Manage and administer Compensation Events (CEs), including identification, pricing, submission, and agreement
*
Prepare, review, and negotiate quotations and cost submissions
*
Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts
*
Undertake valuations and applications for payment
*
Assess subcontractor applications and manage subcontract accounts
*
Provide commercial advice to project managers and operational teams
*
Ensure compliance with contract terms (e.g., NEC or other relevant forms)
Essential Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water industry
*
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar)
*
Demonstrable experience managing Compensation Events
*
Experience preparing and reviewing detailed quotations
Desirable:
*
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent experience)
*
Membership (or working towards membership) of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS)
*
Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or framework agreements
