A boutique Central London law firm is seeking a proactive Residential Property Legal Secretary to join their busy conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to support 2–3 Solicitors and play a key role within a fast-paced residential property department.
As a Legal Secretary, you will be involved in all aspects of residential conveyancing, including client onboarding and compliance checks. The Legal Secretary will also prepare and review legal documents, draft completion statements and SDLT submissions, and manage transactions from instruction through to completion. In addition, the Legal Secretary will liaise with clients, lenders, and third parties, as well as handle Land Registry applications, searches, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
The Legal Secretary will also support financial processes, maintain compliance systems, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the team. The ideal Legal Secretary will have Residential Property experience, strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
