The Role
As a Retail Sales Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality showroom experience. You’ll engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through product selections to support their projects—whether for home renovations or trade purchases.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional showroom experience
Understand customer needs and offer tailored product recommendations
Inspire customers with ideas for tiling projects and interior design
Process sales accurately and efficiently, including handling payments
Maintain strong product knowledge, including new and evolving ranges
Merchandise and display products to maximise sales opportunities
Assist with stock deliveries, storage, and inventory management
Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing showroom
Support customers with loading purchases where required
Follow company procedures relating to sales, security, and health & safetyAbout You
Proven sales and customer service skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
A natural ability to build rapport and understand customer needs
Interest or flair in interior design, colour, and styling
Confident in suggesting ideas and presenting solutions
Numerate, with the ability to calculate areas and measurements
IT literate and comfortable with sales systems
A team player who can also work independently
Reliable, proactive, and well-organised
Willing to work weekends on a rota basis (5 days out of 7)
